North Way Christian Community Justice Team

Rooted in prayer and the Biblical call to seek justice, our mission is to advocate on behalf of the vulnerable and oppressed by engaging the church through education and outreach.

Founded in 2012 at North Way Christian Community, we are dedicated to:
  • Advocating on behalf of the vulnerable & oppressed through engaging the church to “do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God” (Micah 6:8).
  • Raising awareness about the plight of the vulnerable & oppressed including victims of human trafficking, aiming specifically at the community of North Way Christian Community, generally at other churches in our Region and through our global mission partners to their circles of influence.
  • Providing opportunities for our team and the larger church body to volunteer and engage in ways to serve the vulnerable and oppressed.
  • Developing strategic relationships with churches and agencies to multiply the impact of our collective work.
  • Learn more about us by watching "Human Trafficking: Pittsburgh Fights Back"
We meet the 3rd Sunday of every month at 4pm at North Way Wexford unless noted otherwise. Please RSVP to Justice to attend.
