Finance Director - Shared Services/Central Support (Full Time)
The Finance Director will help ensure ethical handling of church funds, bill payments, and property, ensuring all legal requirements are met. This position will also prepare and report on the budgets for the entire organization, to include both operating and capital budget as well as additional budgets as appropriate. Responsible for the management of the accounting software program, to include training, maintenance, and security of the program.
Description of Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate reports to all levels of the organization as assigned, requested and /or required; ensure the organization undergoes an annual independent audit of all financial dealings/records; ensure external compliance with all laws, guidelines and other appropriate areas; manage all contracts which obligate the organization, financially or otherwise; ensure that the organization is properly and adequately insured; partner with the Insurance company on all matters requiring the assistance/support of the insurance company; research and compare benefits as well as ensure appropriate coverages for the activities of the organization; responsible for the management of Stock account; prepare, establish, plan, obtain proper approvals, enforce adherence to budget and report variances on a monthly basis to Executive Pastor, Finance Committee and all Directors or others responsible for a budget area; approve all payments, ensuring adherence to established and approved budget; review coding for all journal and check entries to ensure accuracy and appropriateness; responsible for month end close and processing in a timely manner, to include preparing reports for Finance Council and Elder’s Council meetings; supervise Finance staff; prepare requirements for ECFA membership; and oversee the processes and volunteers associated with the offering and count procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance' proficiency along with a minimum five years’ experience with Quickbooks Accounting Software; highly skilled in communication of financial matters; experience in insurance, risk management highly preferred; a working knowledge/understanding of legal guidelines and other factors in non-profit / church setting; individual must be highly relational, people-oriented, high energy, possess a positive outlook, team player, quality driven; proficiency in Microsoft products.
Social Media Specialist (Part Time)
This position will be responsible to manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day social media activities, further establish North Way’s social media presence and generally support the Communications Department in various other activities.
Extensive experience in the social media and internet marketing areas to include Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter and other similar areas; Proficiency with social media management tools such as Google docs and other 3rd party tools; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required; SEO oversight experience preferred; Constant Contact experience helpful. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and productively with staff, volunteers and others. Tact, diplomacy, and creativity are a must.
Must possess a high level of computer skills for all office functions, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphics software (Adobe inDesign and Photoshop, Publisher, Illustrator, Word Press website content management and social media for business).
Successful candidate will be resourceful, creative, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively work on a team.
Wexford Adult Life Director (Full Time)
This position is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Adult Life Ministry at the Wexford Campus. They will work with the ALD Champion and Campus Pastor to develop and implement goals for the ministry to maintain a consistent vision at the campus level. The Director must be comfortable in large and smaller group settings as well as one on one communications. The successful candidate must possess extraordinary people skills and have a genuine desire for spiritual growth for the North Way community. The Director shall supervise the ALD Ministry Coordinator in Wexford to ensure proper execution of the responsibilities of that position. Weekend and evening hours are required, dependent upon scheduled events, trainings, meetings, etc.
High School Diploma; Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc); Individual must be high people-oriented, high energy, with a positive outlook, team player, quality driven.
Wexford Production Team Assistant (Full Time)
Works with North Way Production Director to lead and execute all production elements of services and special events as well as developing and caring for a volunteer production team. Acts as a liaison and representative with our multi-site champion and Wexford production team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to lighting and stage set design, video capture and distribution of weekend sermons to multiple campuses, training and leading a large volunteer team, and troubleshooting/upkeep of all production gear.
High School Diploma; Associate’s degree or higher in a production-related field or equivalent experience strongly preferred; Experience in professional sound production and in lighting/video applications required; Experience with HD remote cameras, intelligent lighting fixtures, Pro Presenter, Pro Video Player, Pro Video Sync, Final Cut X, and Adobe Photoshop are a plus, specifically in a worship or ministry setting strongly preferred; Proficiency in Windows and Mac-based products preferred; Ability to identify, equip, deploy and oversee leaders, volunteers and teams to assist in the production area.
