There are always opportunities to grow in your faith, whether you’re exploring Christianity or have been a Christian for years. Here are just some of the steps you can take at North Way Sewickley Valley to mature in faith as you follow the Lord on your own journey -- and prepare to help others on theirs. Baptism The act of water baptism is an important first step in your spiritual journey as an outward expression of the grace of God in the life of a believer. • Serve

    Serve

If you’d like to serve, but aren’t sure where, we’d love to help! Please contact Katia Nascimento. Hospitality The Hospitality Team creates a warm and welcome environment on Sunday mornings by parking cars, greeting guests and members, providing baked goods, brewing coffee, collecting each week’s offering, and serving communion. If you’re interested in serving on the Hospitality Team, please contact Jenifer Brown. Kidz Ministry The Kidz Ministry Team desires to leave a lasting imprint on the life of every child by creating a loving and safe environment, providing Scripture-based teaching and worship, and partnering with parents to equip them with tools necessary to teach the virtues of Jesus at home. If you’re interested in serving on the Kidz Ministry Team, please contact Jenifer Brown. Membership The Membership Team walks alongside new members at North Way Sewickley Valley by coordinating and attending membership classes, as well as helping to connect new members to the life of the church. If you’re interested in serving on the Membership Team, please contact Jenifer Brown. Missions/Transformational Outreach The Missions/Transformational Outreach Team aims to improve the desperate state of at-risk children locally, nationally and globally by sending the local church to deliver practical resources, meet needs, and develop and implement long-term solutions. If you’re interested in serving on the Missions/Transformational Outreach Team, please contact Josh and Katie Gmys. Production The Production Team provides an excellent worship environment each week through set design, lighting, slides, video and sound. If you’re interested in serving on the Production Team, please contact Peter Hrydil. If you’re interested in serving on the Student Ministry Team, please contact Brad Beggs. Worship Ministry North Way Sewickley Valley’s Worship Ministry leads our community into worship each week by singing and playing instruments. • Kidz

    Kidz

  • Students

    Students

Student Ministry | 5pm-7pm Sundays, Sewickley Valley Ministry Center North Way Students is a dynamic environment where middle and high school students (6-12th grade) are encouraged to experience, know and follow Jesus. Weekly Gatherings Our gatherings are filled with unpredictable fun, relevant teaching, and small group time -- all designed to help students understand how to make sense of the questions they face in life and to live out what they are learning. Beyond our gatherings, North Way students experience incredible events and retreats, and have the opportunity to serve in ministry during our weekend services. And because we believe in partnering with parents, we equip families with application tools and resources to keep the conversation going beyond our student gatherings. Ultimately, as a student nears graduation, we are working to help pack that student’s bag with all that they need to own their faith as they move into the next phase of their life. Student Ministry Short Term Trips Student Ministry short term trips focus on partnering both with churches and established organizations on a local, national, and global scale. A cross-cultural ministry trip, whether around the world or to a city here at home, has the potential to be truly life-changing. You will be able to experience God and grow in your relationship with Him as you are removed from your day-to-day activities and routines. You will develop a God-centered perspective, allowing you to see your life at home through a new lens. You will serve others and live out the faith principles taught in Scripture as you grow, develop, and are challenged to truly practice your faith. You will grow in your relationship with the Lord, your teammates and leaders, and those in the community you enter. Connect with Sewickley Valley Student Ministries For more information about Sewickley Valley’s Student Ministry, email Brad Beggs.
