Discipleship – or making disciple-makers – means reproducing the character, ways, and mission of Jesus in those God brings around you, and encouraging them to do the same in others. Simply put, discipleship is about being a disciple of Jesus and making disciples of Jesus. In its most formal sense, discipleship can occur by committing to meet with a small group of individuals and walk through a foundational or formational discipleship tool, such as Discipleship Journey or Discipleship Essentials. Discipleship can also occur by taking any number of steps within our faith as we seek to follow, hear from, and obey Jesus. Whether you are looking to be discipled or are ready to disciple others, there are plenty of opportunities to begin.
