Our summer camp experience partners your child (preschool through 5th grade based on 2016-2017 school year) with adult and student (6th through 12th grade based on 2016-2017 school year) leaders who guide them in a fun and safe environment filled with age-appropriate games, music, activities and awesome surprises. KidzGiG stands for kids growing in God and that’s exactly what we hope happens during one of summer’s best weeks at North Way.

Who can volunteer? Students (6th through 12th grade based on 2016-2017 school year) and any adult (ages 18+*). *Adults (ages 18+) must complete and submit volunteer clearances before serving at KidzGiG — PA Child Abuse (free), PA State Police Background Check (free) and FBI Fingerprinting process (Cost: $24.75; this is reimbursable through North Way’s Human Resources Department (if adult has lived 10 consecutive years in PA, they may fill out a North Way Affidavit in lieu of the fingerprint process). Does a volunteer have to attend North Way? No. As long as a volunteer is a 6th grader (for 2016-2017 school year) and older, they are invited to register. Do I have to purchase a volunteer t-shirt? If you have served previously and have a blue volunteer shirt, you do not need a new shirt to serve. If you do not have a blue volunteer shirt, please add it to your registration. It will be free of charge as our way of saying “thank you.” Is there a volunteer discount available? Yes. For all campuses, except Dormont. The $20 volunteer discount will apply only to an adult who serves all 5 days at KidzGiG. One discount per household, please. Enter the promo code “SERVE5” (one time only) on the family registration in order to receive this discount. The discount does not apply to students serving for the week.
