Kidz Ministry - What Is... Kidz Ministry?
What is Kidz Church?
Kids are challenged every weekend to trust God, make wise decisions and build lasting friendships. Nothing
is more important than a child learning to follow Jesus (mission statement) at an early age. When children
learn who He is and what He has done, they discover they can trust Him. We believe that serving in this ministry
alongside of your child is one of the greatest ways we can partner with you in the spiritual development of your
child. We want your child to believe there is nothing too big for God to handle.
We teach the children bible truths in the form of 'virtues' that illustrate life application age-appropriate
principals. In order to cement these truths into the heart of a child, we offer a four pronged process throughout
the month.
What is fmlive!?
On the first Saturday of the month following the 6pm service, the South Venue of the Wexford campus is
transformed into a theater where kids and their parents come together to learn of the "virtue" being
introduced in Kidz Church for the month. Through lively worship, drama and just plain laughs, the virtue is
lived out and illustrated through a series of short skits and videos every member of your family will love.
fmlive! runs about 45 minutes starting at 7:30.
Weekend services then continue the teaching on the virtue through Large Group drama presentations and small
group PAC time.
What is Large Group?
The monthly virtue is reinforced through additional drama presentations every weekend throughout the month. We believe the Bible should never be boring, so we use a variety of props, music, media and fun characters to make it a memorable experience. We also spend time in worship, telling God how much we love Him.
What is PAC Time?
Once the virtue is presented in large group, children break into small groups to learn how to apply that virtue to specific areas of their lives. We call this PAC time because we teach children how to Pray, Apply God's truth to their daily life, and Connect with friends and the adults who are caring for and discipling them. Our PAC leaders serve on a regular rotation and are supported by parent connectors who sign up to serve as their schedules allow.
What is Toolz?
The fourth, and most important component of our strategy is in equipping the parents to continue the teaching
throughout the week in the home. The TOOLZ ministry supplies parents with information about the virtue and the
scriptures being taught, and supplies take-home tools for weekly discussion or application. We strongly encourage
all parents to find time to serve in Kidz Church to familiarize themselves with the lessons and strategies used
to support the children as they learn to follow Jesus. 
Parents have a multitude of teachable moments throughout the life of their children, and we want to help make
those moments count. Getting INvolved, Getting INformed, and Getting INtentional will prepare parents to aid
their child as they navigate through life and bring light to most any situation the family will face.
