CheckIn / CheckOut Procedures & Guidelines

For our first time guests to North Way Kidz, please go to the Kidz Welcome Center at the entrance of the Kidz Space to register your child. This is a fast and simple process.

Families who regularly attend North Way Kidz weekend ministries check in at any of the kiosks located at the entrances of the Kidz Space or at the entrance of the Nursery, and escort their children to the appropriately aged areas.

Nursery
At the Nursery Registration Desk, parents will obtain a nametag for their child and diaper bag, and a parent receipt for the parents to keep to claim their child at pick-up. Parents will also receive a pager so that we can contact them during the service if and when the needs arise. Parents of Nursery children are asked to please return the pager to the Nursery Registration Desk and then use the parent receipt to pick-up the child at the door. Parents will then be directed to their child’s age appropriate room as listed below:

• 0-12 months - Infant Room
• 12-24 months - Crawler Room
• 24-42 months - Toddler Room

Preschool

• 3 ½ -- 5 year olds

Elementary

• Kindergarten/1st grade
• 2nd/3rd grade
• 4th/5th grade

At the conclusion of the service, the parent or person picking up the child should go to the child’s classroom and present the parent receipt they received at check in. The parent receipt will be matched to the nametag attached to the child. Children will not be released without the parent receipt, and only adults are permitted to pick up children.
