Short Term Missions Trips
The Global Missions Team considers short-term mission trips a key discipleship tool in the life of a believer. Trips and training are tools designed to disciple participants into becoming more devoted Christ followers. A short-term mission trip is not a retreat or camp where you pay money and then go. Being a team member is a privilege - one earns the right to go!
Opportunities for Short Term Mission Trips for 2008

Where: Senegal
Leader: David Guthrie
What: Medical Mission. Visit remote villages around Dakar, Senegal.
Do exams and bring medicines to local people in villages. Share the gospel message with all who come to the clinics.

Where: Southeast Asia
Leader: Sam and Ruth
What: Ruth will lead the group for the annual children’s day program. Primary purpose is to bless the foster care personnel. Sam will lead the team into the wilderness to continue work with an unreached people group.

What: English Teaching Camp at Christian Paisansart School
This year there will be two consecutive weeks of teaching. Each camp consists of 5 days with 1 hour of English instruction followed by a Vacation Bible School activity.

What: Work with the Umanas to bring the gospel to the Honduran people. Participate in a Vacation Bible School program teaching Bible stories, playing games, doing crafts and generally loving on the children.
