At North Way, worship is a central part of our identity as a church. It is also an inherent part of our identity as believers ­ we were made to Worship! It is an expression of our love, passion, reverence and devotion back to God. When we worship God with these attitudes, He responds to our sincerity and reveals even more of His attributes, worth and power into our lives. This exchange glorifies God in us, and in so doing affects our lives and the lives of those around us.

Our band and vocal teams are made up of skilled vocalists and musicians who have a heart for worship, and the desire to serve God and others by offering their gifts as an act of worship. These teams lead out in our services at all of our campuses and venues. Those interested in participating in the worship band or vocal teams are required to go through an audition/interview process. Blessed with state-of-the-art equipment and creative people, the tech team has made a significant positive impact in North Way worship environments. Whether you are in the sanctuary with a technologic face lift, Café service, or experiencing the video wall in Oakland - the caliber of technology used in our services exceeds that of many production facilities in Pittsburgh. The technical suite includes space for creativity in video production, audio production, internet content development, and service support. The technical suite is where all videos are created for weekend service support and is the environment used for writing and recording worship music.

Equipment is secondary to the crew of dedicated volunteers who are eager to serve and make it happen behind the scenes. Our volunteer team is made up of all ages - middle school students through retired folks. It is not uncommon for entire families to serve together on a Sunday morning! Whether you have a technical background or have never used technology in your life, there are many opportunities for you to serve along side of this team. Students looking for exposure to the latest technology, experienced professionals, servant hearts, or individuals that feel they are not technical at all … they all love to serve God and enjoy the fellowship here.

The Production Tech team includes people who put words up on the video screens, run video systems, camera, audio, stage managers, audio for broadcast, video recording, lighting, internet, music, artistic, stage design, and so on. On a regular basis we have events for fellowship and also learning events with professionals from the industry helping to sow into the team.
