Mission: To build a culture of life. Vision: Guided by love and compassion, the vision of Embrace Life Ministries is to promote a culture in which every single individual is embraced as a unique and inherently valuable representation of the Image of God. Ministry Goals: We seek to accomplish this through five main goals:
  • educate the church body on the impact of abortion
  • encourage alternatives to abortion
  • support women and families who choose life
  • offer healing for those who’ve experienced the loss of a child
  • promote inclusion of individuals with differing abilities
Meetings: Please contact embracelife@northway.org for up to date meeting schedules. Who We Support: Embrace Grace: Embrace Grace is a 12-week Bible study designed for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. It meets every Tuesday (fall and spring sessions) from 6:30-8:30pm at the Oakland Campus. In addition to in-depth Bible study and a supportive community, the church will host a baby shower for the women and several other fun, meaningful events. Embrace Life: Embrace Life is a 2 semester Bible study for new single moms that equips them to flourish in their relationship with God and in their journey as a single mom. It meets every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30pm at the Oakland campus. Breathing Hope: Breathing Hope is an annual daylong retreat for those who have been touched by infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, fatal diagnosis, or other infant loss. The day offers the opportunity to bond with other grieving hearts, engage in healing activities, hear from bereavement professionals, and receive tools to help navigate the bereavement journey. Post-Abortive Healing: Embrace Life partners with local pregnancy resource centers to promote their post-abortive healing services. If abortion is part of your past, we’d love to help you make the first step in your healing journey. North Way Friendship Ministry: Embrace Life partners with the Friendship Ministry for the annual You’re a Star Prom. For other ways to serve within North Way’s Friendship Ministry, click here.
