Justice

A North Way Outreach Ministry

Rooted in prayer and the Biblical call to “do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God” (Micah 6:8), our mission is to advocate on behalf of the vulnerable and oppressed by engaging the church through education and outreach.

About the Justice Team

Founded at North Way in 2012, we are dedicated to raising awareness about the plight of the vulnerable and oppressed, including victims of human trafficking. We focus specifically on the people of North Way Christian Community, generally on other churches in our region, and also on the circles of influence of our global mission partners. The Justice Team provides opportunities for both our team and the larger church body to volunteer and engage in ways to serve the vulnerable and oppressed, including the development of strategic relationships with churches and agencies to multiply the impact of our collective work. You can learn more about us by watching the WQED special Human Trafficking: Pittsburgh Fights Back.
