North Way Ministry Hub -
East Liberty
What if Christians practically living out their faith in their city could lead to transformed lives and neighborhoods? We have a Biblical mandate to love God and love our neighbors, and this call is at the heart of our ministry hubs. Matthew 22:37-40 says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Christian Community Development
North Way has launched a new initiative called Ministry Hubs. These hubs will be located throughout the city of Pittsburgh, beginning in the East Liberty neighborhood. The Hubs will be places where people experience life change through a unique approach to urban ministry called, Christian Community Development. The CCD approach, part of a national movement, equips local churches like North Way to make a difference.

Ministry Hub FAQs
Can I be a part of the Ministry Hub if I do not live in the city?
Absolutely! This approach won’t be whole without everyone in God’s church engaging and loving one another.
How can I get involved?
Contact a ministry team member to learn more about opportunities, which include: prayer walking, listening sessions and community research.
What programs will be offered at the Ministry Hub?
The programing at each Hub will be dependent on the hopes and dreams of the residents in each neighborhood. Stay tuned to hear about what neighbors come up with through community listening sessions.
