Praise & Worship fill the brand new sanctuary at Beaver Valley | Nov. 30, 2017

Thursday, November 30, 2017 was a long-awaited day for many. For months (and in some cases, years), North Way staff, nearly 200 Core Team members, and countless others have been praying, giving, hands-on-helping and in many ways being involved in the launch of our newest campus. And Thursday was the much-anticipated, very first ever, time of corporate worship together in our brand new sanctuary, for our last Core Team Event. As Pastor Scott Stevens mentioned from the platform, how better could we begin our time of fellowship together in our new campus, than by lifting our voices together in heartfelt praise and worship to the One who has orchestrated every detail of the Beaver Valley launch?

Pastor Chris White welcomed 280 guests into the seats for the first time, introduced fellow Beaver Valley staff and gave the overview for the evening’s event. Then Worship Director, Amy Smith joined the band on stage and brought the roof down -- -- well, thankfully, only metaphorically. The time of worship was nothing short of amazing, awesome, powerful, inspired by the Holy Spirit. After worship, Pastor Scott spent some time giving the background of how the launch Beaver Valley began, North Way’s mission & strategy, and the vision for Beaver Valley now and even years from now. He then introduced Founding Pastor Jay Passavant to the stage to offer a prayer of blessing over the entire campus and everyone who will be entering the doors upon the Christmas Services, Friends & Family services in January and into the Grand Opening, February 4th.

Pastor Chris thanked everyone for being part of this memorable night and welcomed everyone to wander the building, checking out Kids Ministry rooms, offices, and lobby, all while enjoying delicious catered appetizers. Parents retrieved their children from childcare and lingered in the lobby, enjoying a nice long time of fellowship with other Core Team members and many new friends.

To say the BV staff was excited about this night is an understatement. Early attendees caught a glimpse of a powerful team huddle and high-fives, left and right. They were nearly giddy with joy over finally getting to share the space and especially worship together inside the brand new campus where so many new adventures are just beginning.
