We do this to help change the lives of people in the South Hills and Pittsburgh region as they experience the love and gospel of Jesus. • Serve

Whether you’ve never volunteered before or are ready to serve in a leadership role, we are all called to serve meaningfully in and as the local church. If you’d like to serve, but aren’t sure where, we’d love to help! Please contact Sandy Weiss. Please consider serving our church family by volunteering in one of these areas: Community Care Use your unique skills to help others in the church and community, including making meals, cleaning, minor repairs, yardwork, transportation, childcare, and more. Guest Services Create a warm and welcome environment at the church by parking cars, greeting guests and members, providing baked goods, brewing coffee, collecting each week’s offering, and serving communion. Kids Ministry Leave an imprint on the life of a child (Kids Ministry is birth – fifth grade) while creating a loving and safe environment, providing teaching and worship, and partnering with parents to equip them with tools to teach the virtues of Jesus at home. Outreach The Transformational Outreach Team aims to improve the desperate state of at-risk children locally, nationally and globally by mobilizing our church community to deliver practical resources and partner with established organizations and churches to carry out long-term solutions. Production Provide an excellent, distraction-free worship environment each week that frees people to focus on worship and meeting with the Lord through set design, lighting, slides, video, and sound. Student Ministry Minister to middle and high school students throughout the week by building relationships, leading small groups and intentionally investing into the lives of students. Worship Lead the community in worship each week by singing or playing an instrument.
  • Kids

Your child will experience God’s love as it radiates from our volunteers who are prepared to help each child feel loved and secure. Every week, children learn a Bible story, memorize Scripture, worship together, and build relationships with other children and the leaders through small groups and activities. North Way Kids is available at the 8:30, 10, and 11:30am services. We are an Orange church partnering with parents to create opportunities where kids can discover Jesus and learn to apply biblical truth to their lives. Once your children joins Kids Church, you will be added to our weekly email to stay up to date with our weekly program and tools to engage with your child throughout the week. • Students

Student Ministry | 2pm – 3:30pm Sundays, Potomac Room North Way Students is a dynamic environment where middle and high school students (6-12th grade) are encouraged to experience, know and follow Jesus. Weekly Gatherings Our gatherings are filled with unpredictable fun, relevant teaching, and small group time – all designed to help students understand how to make sense of the questions they face in life and to live out what they are learning. Beyond our gatherings, North Way students experience incredible events and retreats, and have the opportunity to serve in ministry during our weekend services. And because we believe in partnering with parents, we equip families with application tools and resources to keep the conversation going beyond our student gatherings. Ultimately, as a student nears graduation, we are working to help pack that student’s bag with all that they need to own their faith as they move into the next phase of their life. Student Ministry Short Term Trips Student Ministry short term trips focus on partnering both with churches and established organizations on a local, national, and global scale. A cross-cultural ministry trip, whether around the world or to a city here at home, has the potential to be truly life-changing. You will be able to experience God and grow in your relationship with Him as you are removed from your day-to-day activities and routines. You will develop a God-centered perspective, allowing you to see your life at home through a new lens. You will serve others and live out the faith principles taught in Scripture as you grow, develop, and are challenged to truly practice your faith. You will grow in your relationship with the Lord, your teammates and leaders, and those in the community you enter. For more information about Dormont’s Student Ministry, email John Reilly.
